Tangy Seafood Sauce

Preparation time: 5 mins
Serves: 4+

INGREDIENTS
4 tbs mayonnaise
2 tbs tomato sauce or paste
1 clove garlic
juice of ½ lemon
1 tsp tamari sauce
¼ tsp tabasco sauce
salt and pepper to taste

METHOD
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
2. Eat and enjoy!

REHEATING, STORAGE & LEFTOVERS
* This quick and easy sauce will keep in the fridge if stored in an airtight container for a few days.

VARIATIONS & TIPS
* This sauce works especially well with prawns, but can be used for just about any seafood. I especially like this sauce in a prawn cocktail with fresh avocado and mango slices.
* If using tomato paste instead of tomato sauce, you may need to add a little sweetener such as honey or rice malt syrup to balance the flavour .
* Adjust the amount of tabasco sauce and lemon juice to suit your taste and if you’re feeling adventurous, add a little lemon zest to the mix.
